Bi-Costal Snow

Having spent the past few weeks working with landscapes, i was so lucky to get snow in Rome on a day I had my camera, but also while in New York. Here are my favourite snow shots, which are likely to be developed further.

I was thinking of creating a series of paintings and then combining them like a screen, this idea came from the Japanese landscapes I saw at the Met.

I will keep you updated ...

Barcelona

This past month has been full of travelling, hence why I am behind on my blogging. However here are some of my few favourite photos from Barcelona.

Mad for the MET

On my recent trip in New York, I fell in love with the Met Museum. In particular the European 18th and 19th cetuntury painting section. Although this is not my usual area of preference, in style and composition, I really enjoyed experimenting with my photos on photoshop!

Up Close Organic Forms

I was looking through Allegra's book the other day and she had done the photos of her painting up close, i thought that this idea could be interesting on the recent painting i did. Especially in the theme of organic shapes and origins, i especially like the colours!

My Shell Drawing. IN BIG!

So i took the sketches i did of shells and turned them into a big chalk and charcoal picture on the big neutral colored paper. I plan to do a few more similar sketches, again using the same paper and materials.
