B&W Photogrpahs of Rome
Here are the photographs i took of the sunset over Rome, they help me appreciate what a beautiful city we will live in. Because i like the colours so much i decided to leave the photos completly unedited (excpet for a few sneaky crops) because i think then they have a raw beauty, like Rome. Here are the Black and White ones, and the coloured ones will shortly follow.
enjoy ...

I HATE COMPUTERS
ok so this weekend i went into the centre to get photos of people shopping, for my latest project. however the centre was PACKED, and i found it hard to get photos of individuals because there were about 3000000 people on via del corso. so instead i decided that because it was about 6:30 i would go take photos of the sunset over Rome.
so i went and got some prettty sweet pictures, and i was really proud of myself, i brought them home and loaded them all up. finally deciding on about 25 of my favourites, the "keepers" to go up on my blog. my plan was, because 25 pictures in one post might be an overload, that i would create a little slideshow on my blog. after four attempts i managed to load my pictures onto a picasa web album. however, the computer now doesnt recognise the album i want to load up, and at one point i had someone else's photos of their rome holiday, on my blog.
so in the end i decided i will just have to risk an overload, because i really want to load the photos up, but I HATE COMPUTERS.

Shop Windows
When i got back from Paris and I was looking through my photos there was one in particular that i liked, it was a photo i ahd taken of a display in a glasses shop. So therefore, when i went to Capri, i decided to take some more pictures of particular shop windows that interested me. I think that this theme could filter through into one of my projects however i am going to experiment with it in my book first!
Street Art and Faces in Napoli
Ok! So on of the many places i went to during my holidays was Napoli, and i was really fascinated by the street art. However i also managed to capture some interesting faces and people while i was there. During one day i managed to take almost 200 photos so i won't put them all up ... but here are a few!

Alex Mackenzie

So for my extended essay in art, one of the artists i will be looking at is my mummy's friend Alex Mackenzie. Although i will be focusing only on the art she does depicting art, i have also had a look at her web-site to get an idea of her work.
One of the things that amazed me the most is her range, she has amazing pictures full of color and passion portraying flamenco dancers. However also these fine subtle paintings of the countryside. Their family moves a lot and looking through her pictures it was amazing to see how her style and themes change, as she changes home.
Here are a few of my favourite photos, but her website is http://web.me.com/mackenzi1/alexmackenzie.com/Welcome.html so feel free to check them out!

Fabric Patterns
unfortunatly i have not been able to get onto my blog recently, every time i tried my computer started talking about "cookies"!?! so this post has had to wait a while
when mr morgan told me that my paris babies / first profjects looked like fabric designs i then started looking into fabric patterns and designers, one in particular that i like was celia birtwell (also cos me and allegra have matching celia birtwell bags!) so i then started looking into her fabrics, on her website ... http://www.celiabirtwell.com/home.html ... and then i took my favourite images from a few of her ranges and made some pictures of my own on photoshop.
