I was looking through Allegra's book the other day and she had done the photos of her painting up close, i thought that this idea could be interesting on the recent painting i did. Especially in the theme of organic shapes and origins, i especially like the colours!

RispondiEliminaI'd suggest a smallish series of paper based works as a whole project. Or maybe some relief panels in clay?
You still need more observational drawing too - but it could be in wild colours rather than monochomatic pencil
Look at some late Willem de Kooning for further ideas and inspiration in a similar vein
